DOWNLOAD: QSR Inventory Spreadsheet

Make counting and calculating your end of month food and beverage inventory easier and more accurate with this spreadsheet.

You will need to invest a few hours of upfront time to enter your restaurants specific product list and unit prices in the Inventory template. Thereafter, the form will do all the extensions for your (multiply the number of each item counted by the unit price) and it will total each inventory category automatically. Each month's count sheets can be saved for future reference.

  • Enter all your Food and Beverage Inventory items in the proper categories (e.g. Meats, Produce, Grocery) and assign a count unit and unit price to each.

  • Then create a copy of the Food and/or Beverage inventory template for each month's use (Also print a copy of the spreadsheet to manually record the inventory items prior to entering in the spreadsheet)

  • The monthly inventory sheet will automatically calculate the item extensions (count unit times unit price) and total all items by category as well as calculating a grand total for all Food items and Beverage Items.

  • Calculate the change in inventory from the prior period and make an adjusting entry into your accounting system to provide accurate Cost of Goods Sold numbers for each month of operation.

This template comes in a Microsoft Excel (.xls) file format.
